When will the shop open again?

 I am currently opening the shop for pre orders only due to needing rest in between shop restocks. You can find dates for pre order openings in the announcement bar at the top of the website and also on Instagram. Please note that there is a 6 week turnaround for these orders, as they're made to order just for you. I know this isn't ideal for everyone, but it's how I need to run the shop in order to keep making product. I'll be opening pre orders every 6 weeks, so check back for dates! Thank you for understanding. 

 

Shipping.

 

All orders will be shipped within 6 weeks of pre ordering. Everything is shipped priority but USPS is often slow, so please give them time to get your package to you.. Once your shipping label is created, you’ll be sent a tracking number to track your package.

I usually ship your package within 24 hours of the label being printed.

Please note that I send out MANY packages at once and will not be keeping an eye on your package. Once your package ships it is now in USPS’s hands and is not my responsibility.

 

Missing or Damaged

As said, every package is shipped priority, so each package automatically has $50 insurance included. If you need more insurance than that, please contact me so I can invoice you.

If your product isn’t tracking, have patience, USPS is slow. Either way, file a claim, just in case. If your product arrives damaged again, file a claim. If your package shows up empty, file a claim. I’ve had many packages busted open in transit and product falls out, disappearing into the abyss. I cannot afford to replace all the product USPS loses/destroys, unfortunately. Small business aren’t Amazon. This process is 100% your responsibility. The maker of what you ordered has no control. YOU will receive the refund, not the small business.

If Damaged.

Once you receive your refund from USPS, feel free to reach out to see if I have more of the product you ordered so you can purchase again (or get on a waitlist). That being said, each piece of art I create is unique. You will never get that same piece again, but I can make something similar.

 

I cannot guarantee I will have more of what you purchased. The shop usually sells out each time, so odds are I won’t have what you want, but will have more next update and will happily hold something for you.

Combining Orders.

If you’re in a rush to order, forget something, and need to make a second order, I’ll happily refund any extra shipping paid. Please note, you won’t be refunded until I’ve packed your order. If you have a large order the extra shipping you’ve paid will most likely go towards shipping, and you may receive a partial refund instead.

Refunds.

I do not currently offer refunds unless I sent you the wrong item or the item isn’t correctly made.

Any damaged items must be claimed through USPS.

The Cart.

At this time the cart does not hold your items. I know, this is stressful and I wish I could change it but I cannot. Please do not send me angry messages/emails regarding losing whatever you put in your cart. I am human. I am not technology. I cannot control it. It also makes me feel horrible about even making anything to sell because I’m just adding to the frantic consumerism I hate.

To increase the odds of getting what you want, I encourage you to sign up for an account on my website so your payments + shipping information is already saved.

Why No Essential Oils?

The essential oil industry is NOT sustainable. The amount of plant required to make one tiny bottle of essential oil is appalling. When you consider how many people are using essential oils now, it’s a no brainer. I love working with the whole plant. The entire plant has something to offer, not just it’s oil, and we’re doing a great disservice to the planet by not using every part we can.

Because I don’t use essential oils, please note your items are not going to smell overly fragranced. Some have no fragrance at all, depending on the plants used. DO NOT buy my products because you’re wanting a scent. I’m working with lovely oils and butters complimented with Whole Plants. My products don’t exist for scent, but to nourish your skin.

If you purchase something and contact me regarding the lack of scent, I will not refund you. Please read what you’re purchasing thoroughly before doing so.

A brief article on essential oil sustainability here. Please research beyond the article given. As a plant consumer it’s your responsibility.

Soap Care

Handmade soap is a luxury for your body! To know exactly what is going on your body is such a lovely feeling. I want your soap to last as long as it possibly can. To do that, it needs to be stored in a dry area when not in use. The side of your tub is not a dry area. A good way to store your soap is to get a slotted soap dish (Local Dishes Sold Here) and have a dry space to sit your soap on on this dish. The slots allow your soap to drain and you won’t have it sitting in water breaking down. If you don’t take care of your soap it will disintegrate quickly because there are no preservatives preventing it from doing so. It’s handmade, after all!
